Meet the Directors of Together in Hope
Diane McGehee, Director Founded Together in Hope to fund and support projects in the United States and around the world that work for the improvement of the lives of all people. Pastor of a Filipino Asian-American congregation in Bellaire, Texas, Diane also serves on the Advisory Board for the Duke Center for Reconciliation. Her passion and life-goal is to provide food, education, and economic development opportunities for people throughout the world, particularly the oppressed and the poor. This passion arises out of her belief that as a Christian she is called to walk in love with all peoples of all religions and cultures in a form that honors the dignity and uniqueness of all human beings as children of God and invites them into, and helps make possible, a life of material and spiritual abundance.
Diane received her Bachelor of Science from Mercer University and her Jurist Doctor from Harvard Law School. She is currently in the process of completing her Masters of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University.
Jack McGehee, Executive Director Founded Together in Hope with his wife, Diane after experiencing a mission trip to the hostile northern Gulu province of Uganda, Africa and talking with Archbishop Odama who risked his life while negotiating the cease fire with militant rebels after they killed nearly an entire generation of innocent civilians. Inspired by other survivors, he realized how the Creeris family of companies could impact social reform in undeveloped countries.
